Led Zeppelin played Newcastle and Sunderland on this tour which was an amazing coup given that by this stage the band were selling out massive venues in the world’s major cities. This was only possible due to the relationship that local promoter Geoff Docherty had with the band’s manager, Peter Grant. The story behind the gigs is told in Geoff’s book ‘A Promoter’s Tale’.

These posters are printed on yellow poster paper which was the same stock used on the original posters. Very few of the original posters are in existence today and those that are available are usually in poor condition. These reprints are your chance to own a piece of Newcastle’s rock history.
